Would be grateful if you could answer this question:

Who wrote the blessing (and is that the correct term?) said by dean or priest at end of service:

May the road rise up to meet you...
in the hollow of his hand, etc.

Is the full text of this available or published anywhere?

The words are:
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
This is an Old Gaelic Blessing
