Can you tell me the name of a manufacturer or retail supplier that sells organists shoes with exceptionally soft soles?

Thank you.

Leather jazz shoes are narrow with thin soles and suit some players

Tap dancing shoes with the tap removed are narrow and more substantial

both can be bought from specialist dance shops for 10-20

Tappers & Pointers dancowoan make jazz shoes with thin soles. Look up any specialist dance(ballet) shop in the yellow pages.

There is a website:

www.organmastershoes.com

for a firm in the US. I've seen these shoes advertized but never tried them. I make do with a pair of old slip-ons which have thin soles (due to old age) which allows me to feel the pedals. Not ideal, I know, but I find them OK.

BTW - nice to see some other members posting on the forum.

Regards,

Nigel
