Well it's good to see you playing music by an Australian composer, Ros Bonighton
I think it was Jason who once wrote on this forum about the Gordon Young piece "Prelude in Classic Style". So thanks for playing that one too! _________________ The older I get, the better I was. |

Rob, most of the recordings (Carlo Curley excepted!) that I have, take just over 5 minutes to play that piece, so your speed was fine. It's the trills where your fingers aren't fast enough. Have a look at other versions on Youtube like this one for example where his fingers are shown quite clearly in some of the trills http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwtKL4uBB7c&feature=related
I thought your registrations were lovely. Now if you could just practice the page turn..... !

Still we all got to learn somewhere mind.
Love organ there too I must say.
On that piece I was using
Swell Oboe (From the Robert Postil Organ 1873!)
Great - Clarabela
Choir Libliech Cedact and the Nazard
Bourdon and Bass Flute on the Pedal with Great 2 Pedal.
When I'm down there next with my Video Camera to just show you all how effective this organ really is in the Church area |

I didn't think it was too fast, and I certainly didn't care for the nasty tone of the latest comment. It seems to me that they could have been more encouraging. |
