I've just noticed that there is a 2-manual & pedal Allen on Ebay. Bidding at the moment is 155.

Nothing to do with me, but it looks like a useful practice organ if anyone is looking.

Regards,

Nigel

Are any specific details about the organ given? Just curious, a friend recently purchased a small electric and one of the keys and two of the pedals didn't work. I don't recall what he paid for it.

I have just looked at the item again, and cut/pasted the description from Ebay. The organ is in Yorkshire. Type 'Allen Organ' into te search on Ebay for a picture etc. I repeat, that I have no knowledge or interest in this organ - I just thought that someone on the forum may be looking for a practice organ.

This is what Ebay says:

' Description Seller assumes all responsibility for listing this item.

Item Specifics

Condition: Used

This is a fine example of an Allen Classical Organ. It is a full two manual and 30 note radiating and concave pedalboard, with 26 speaking stops. (8 on Great, 10 on Swell and 8 on Pedal).

It also features piston capture action and reverb.

The casework is in very good condition and is finished in polished light oak complete with organ bench.

It is in full working order, with internal speakers. Age unknown, but estimate 15 years.

Buyer to collect, or delivery can be arranged at an agreed extra cost. '

I see today that there's a Norwich going too - for 50 - with an external speaker cabinet!

I have just looked, and the Allen went for 1020. Don't tell my wife or she'll want to sell mine!
