For CE I alternate between the Abbey, St. Paul's and Southwark- time and work schedule permitting. Also I try to keep an eye out for what's going on musically at other London churches, e.g. Westminster Cathedral. The internet makes this so simple! |

I've had church music training, but I currently work in The City. I'm one of the youngest employees at the bank! Perhaps it is not what I originally wanted to do with my life, yet I'm not tied down to a church and am able to travel around and visit other UK cathedrals. Next month I hope to return to Hereford, a particular favourite.
Cheers! |

Work is going okay- I'm still there of course and sneaking a peak at the forum. CE at the Abbey looks cool- they're doing the Tompkins Fifth Service, so I might breeze by to catch that.
Tom, since this thread has gone way off topic, perhaps we should start a new one. |

You're ahead of me: what's the "listen again thingy"? If you want to start a waffle here, we'll need to keep it on church music. But of course that's our major interest, isn't it? |

Hello Tom,
That url you gave me looks great. However, I use a Mac so I need to download (if possible) some of the programs to listen. I'll work on it later this evening- alas, I have found that some of the programs are only available in Windows.
How about a new topic:
Tom & Jason's Church Music Waffle
? Anybody could join the thread, but that way we could toss around church music chat.
Cheers
Jason |
