My earlier question was answered here, so I will try again. Does anyone know whether the following two carols have been published and, if so, by whom?
"There is no rose" (Stanley Vann)
"Balulalow" (Ian Shaw)
Both were sung at St. John's College, Cambridge, under George Guest.
Thanks!

If I have just (rather belatedly!) read Bruce Engle's posting from 2003. Last year I became aware of the considerable difficulties that some people are having in obtaining some of my father's music. As a result, I have just designed a web site to try to overcome these difficulties. Its URL is: www.stanleyvannmusic.org.uk
I have attempted to list all his published works. In the case of compositions that have been difficult to obtain (as in this case!), an e-mail to me (see website for details) should help to resolve the problem.
I hope this helps not only you, but also anybody else who is/has been experiencing difficulties.
Regards, Martyn Vann |
