I see you managed to log on, Rob. Likewise, I've looked in for the first time in ages. Greetings, all.

Ahhh Nigel!
You're back!!!!
Long time, no hear (as the saying goes)
Or should it be "long time, not here"?

Folks what can I say!!
It was brilliant yesterday in Hereford.
The Organ at Belmont Abbey was amazing!! Very Powerful and bright mixtures to say the least, soon after next week they are giving the organ an MOT.
St Peters Church I don't know what happened here - the Church was locked don't know why how can a stupid vicar forget??
But the Cathedral Organ WAS AMAZING!!! we sat at watching the Choral Evensong there it was brilliant, we then had an opportunity on the organ, I played the Processional Richard Lloydd (Who many years ago was assistant organist there) sounded absolutly buzzing!! When on Full Organ was just sensational!! The acoustics where simply breath taking I had the 32foot Reed out!!
I'm deffo going to go back up there and this time my video camera is coming with me!!

I've just had a 'phone call offering me the organist's job that I'd applied for (against some tough opposition).
The organ is a superb 2-manual which has been completely rebuilt over the past ten years and now has 41 speaking stops and a 64 channel piston control system
The entry on NPOR is wildly out of date so I'll be updating this soon. So, time to crack open a bottle of wine - and get some practice in!
