			Simon Carpenter's book, which recounts the story of the early days of the cathedral choir, is full of official and unofficial evidence from a variety of highly (un)reliable sources. The book is privately published by the Old Choristers' Association and all proceeds will go towards sponsoring a chorister in the cathedral choir. There are 126 pages and 18 black-and-white illustrations and photos. The book comes with a special compact disc, containing unique archive sound recordings never before released.
