Information:

  • The Cathedral hosts an annual international arts festival for 10 days in May each year. 2002 dates are: 11-18 May. Full details are available from the Festival Website
  • Lunchtime music (including organ recitals) takes place at 12:40 pm each Friday during term time.
  • There is a regular programme of training courses for church musicians and others delivered by eminent musicians, scholars, and liturgists.
  • The Choir has nine choral scholars linked with the Colchester Institute School of Music and will introduce adult female choral scholars from September 1998 to form secondary choral resource.
  • The Organ Scholarship is linked with Felsted School.
  • The Cathedral Choir Association consists of choristers past and present, their families, and supporters throughout the world. There is a regular newsletter and annual review, plus events and reunions. Current subscription £5.00. More details from the Cathedral Office.
